Hello, my name is Beyond! I have a beautiful medium-length Tortoiseshell coat and my unique feature is my black stripe on my nose. I'm a shy sweet gal with an estimated birthdate of 4/21/20. I arrived at Wild Blue from a house full of cats where I didn't get much human contact. We relied on one another for company and felt safe snuggling close to our feline friends. I am sweet at heart and just need some patience and understanding as I learn about human noises, motions, and activities. In a quiet environment I'm content with gentle pets and neck rubs and visibly relax. My wariness fades the longer we visit. I am learning what brush strokes feel like on my fur, and even though it may be scary at first on my back, I'm becoming more comfortable. Once I fill out with a little more weight, I'm sure the brush strokes will be enjoyed even more. I am also starting to understand the joys of sitting on a human's lap and feeling the warmth. I realize I have more to learn about the benefits of human love, but I'm a quick study, and I know I'll blossom with patience and time. I am looking for a quiet home where I can thrive on stability and calmness, with someone who understands my need for gentle encouragement and a slower pace. I would be comfortable with other non-dominant cats, or you might consider adopting one of my litter mates so I would have company. I would need a slow introduction following Wild Blue's instruction in my new home or meeting new pets, and the opportunity to settle in at my own pace. An adult home with older teens who would respect my need for a slow gentle approach would be ideal. They could teach me the pleasures of playtime with a wand or laser light.
