Location:
San Diego, CA
Description:

NO PELLETSHay: Unlimited mixed hay (All day)Salad: 2x a day 1 cup spring mix, parsley, cilantro, romaine lettuce Meet Reggie, an adorable little Hotot rabbit with a personality as unique as his striking appearance! Reggie found his way to us from Orange County on 2/4/24, after arriving as a stray back on 10/30/23. From the moment he entered our care, Reggie's easy-going and relaxed personality have been impossible to ignore. While Reggie may be shy at first, it doesn't take long for his adventurous side to shine through. With a bit of patience and space to roam, he blossoms into a curious and outgoing bunny, ready to embark on new adventures by your side. Spend some quality time with him, and you'll witness the gradual transformation as Reggie slowly opens up, revealing his sweet and gentle nature. As Reggie grows more comfortable, he eagerly welcomes gentle pets and affectionate gestures, his trust in you deepening with each passing moment. We believe Reggie would thrive in a home where he's given the opportunity to build strong bonds and trust with his human companions. Are you ready to open your heart and home to this delightful little rabbit? Reggie can't wait to become a cherished member of your family! Neutered: 1/20/2020 Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious and deadly disease caused by a calicivirus that affects both wild and domestic rabbits. It is not contagious to people or other animals. For the first time, the virus is causing deaths in rabbits and hares native to North America and is spreading rapidly. UPDATE: In May 2021, California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) has confirmed new cases of RHDV in rabbits in Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura County. In addition to detection of RHDV2 in wild cottontail rabbits and jackrabbits, RHDV2 has been confirmed in domestic rabbits on 50 premises, including a detection in a feral domestic rabbit.
