My sweet boy Groot is deaf. He has been with me for approximately 2 1/2 years after I rescued him from a shelter. He would do best in a home without other dogs. Or may be fine depending on your dog. I have three others, and two of them do not interact ideally with him. As he is deaf, he has some mannerisms the other dogs do not understand. He does respond to ASL commands. It breaks my heart it is not working out with my other dogs after trying everything. He is an absolute delight.
