This litter was born to Maia, sister of Sarah. These two sisters were recently rescued together, and have joyously adapted to the rich hunting grounds of our goat barn. Sarah birthed well in the hay trough, and is being allowed the first week of motherhood in seclusion before she and her babies were brought into our sunny kitten nursery. Maia, however, chose a poor location for birthing, so she and her babies were brought into our protection as soon as they were found - and Maia thought she couldn’t be happier! She adored the meat treats, sunny safety of her XL kennel, and frequent lovies. Yet when we brought her sister up from the barn and reunited them, they both insisted on sharing the same kennel and co-nursing their babies together! As soon as we put them together, they began cleaning and nursing each other's babies, lying so that Sarah's head could rest on Maia's tummy. It's adorable; they are so content. -----------------------------Maia had 4 babies - two polydactyls (listed individually), and a normal twin each poly! —————————— Nadia is the normal twin of Ariana. Both are tortoiseshell calicos. Xanadu is the normal twin of Hobart. Both are orange tiger boys. ------‐----------- Reservations are welcome, and require only a verbal committment. Any of these "normal" siblings will be available for free-will donations to our sanctuary (donations average $40), and do not require a reservation fee. Note: "normal" siblings do not carry the Polydactyl gene, and thus cannot have Polydactyl babies. -----------------------Please be aware of Lonely Kitten Syndrome. It’s as rough on the humans as it is on the kitten! If you do not have another kitten/cat, please read up on this syndrome and be fully informed before adopting a Lonely Only. We strongly encourage adoptive families to adopt 2+ kittens if they do not have any other cats. It’s a sanity-saver (and so much fun) for all involved.
