We'd like to introduce you to a big fluffy sweetheart named ROVER. He originally showed up at our pound as a stray but when his owner found out he was with us, she ended up surrendering him to us because she is unable to care for him. ROVER was originally given to her a few weeks ago when his original family decided it was better to give him up. When his mom got pregnant, he began to tear up her clothing and this continued throughout the pregnancy. When the baby was born, he took an instant dislike to the baby which got worse instead of better. They didn't give up and worked with him hoping he'd come around, but he didn't and before the baby began to walk, they decided it wasn't something they wanted to chance. So, ROVER will not be placed with a family with kids or grandkids under 15 so that he isn't set up to fail. He loves other dogs so another dog in the home is fine. He hasn't been around cats. ROVER is housebroken, neutered and up to date on vaccines. He loves to be brushed and pulls a little on a leash but he's not as big or as strong as he thinks he is!Harrison County Dog Pound, 82900 Toot Rd.
