Meet Gus! He’s a male Syrian hamster, and he is estimated to be around 4 months old. Gus is a very shy, sweet, and curious boy. He loves to burrow, run on his wheel, and take treats from your hand! However, he does not really like to be handled. He will allow a few gentle pets, but is not comfortable with anything more than that. Make sure to move slowly and let him smell you. He would do best with a more experienced hamster owner. Maybe you could be the one to give him a loving furrever home! We do NOT have a facility & all animalsare seen by appointment only, after an application hasbeen approved. Dogs' adoption fee includes vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care they may need. For some dogs, the fee may be reduced for reasons that can be made available. Cats' adoption fee include vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care. All are heartworm negative. We require all possible adopters to fill out an adoption application, and to submit themselves to home visits by staff or volunteers, or by local rescues. Vet reference will be required and will be used. Upon adopting, an adoption contract will be signed.
