Hi! My name is Bennet and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I've been at the shelter since July 12th.I am a chill, relaxed older fella that loves nothing more than exploring new areas and saying hi to my human friends. I found my way to the shelter as a stray, so not much is known about my background. I have met another calm and relaxed dog at the shelter and really didn't mind it. I think a high energy, rowdy dog would make me a little irritated, so keep that in mind! Staff is unsure how I behave around cats. I know how to sit, and am very sweet! When I first meet you I will give you some initial sniffs and then wander off, but if you call for me I will come over and give you tail wags and kisses. My ideal home would be semi-active but mostly calm and laid back. I'm not sure I would do well in a chaotic household, so I would most likely do better in a home with older children and/or a calmer dog. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Bennet and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary.
