The larger the cage, the more active they can be! Use plenty of lining material like paper bedding, or scraps of fleece. Guinea pigs eat timothy hay. Provide fresh water every day. Guinea pigs also need hay-based pellets that are vitamin C fortified. Fresh green salads are leafy greens.Your guinea pig will need its nails trimmed twice a month and an annual vet check-up. Guinea pigs typically live six to nine years.
