Before coming into Palomacy, Captain survived against the odds in a rough & tumble aviary flock. Inadequate nutrition and care as a baby resulted in metabolic bone disease, leading to several fractured bones & no flight ability. Captain loves soft blankets, heating pads, and surfaces within big-enthusiastic-hopping-height for a sense of accomplishment. Captain would probably do fine in a gentle aviary, but we think he would especially love to be a house pet. He shows a curiosity & willingness to engage with people and to spend time hanging out with other (gentle) pigeons.
